Whiz Kids is a literacy-based tutoring and mentoring initiative of CityCURE, a 501(c)3 non-profit serving Greater Cincinnati. There are over 1,000 one-on-one tutor/at-risk student relationships in 35 tutoring sites throughout the region. Whiz Kids, which launched in Cincinnati in 2005, focuses on breaking the cycle of despair in children’s lives through a relationship with a caring adult, education and faith experience. Cadette Troop 240, middle school, meets each Monday throughout the school year from 6:30 – 8:00pm. For more information on ages and membership contact:  Belinda Cross, 765-732-3387.  New enrollment will begin in the fall.
