About the Junction
Mission Statement:
The Junction
is a Christian Cooperative that seeks to enrich
the lives of all people through programs designed to enhance spirit,
mind and
body through Christ’s Love
The Junction
is a vision that came about from local pastors
and concerned community members in College Corner inspired by the Holy
Spirit
to build something larger than themselves or their individual churches. Through the prodding of the
Holy Spirit these
citizens felt a need for a community center in the heart of College
Corner that
would minister to residents’ needs as well as be a model of
Christ’s love to
the town. This community center houses
the community food pantry, the health ministry’s
program, the computer center and College Corner Whiz Kids tutoring
program. This
center will grow to
include children’s programs, resource centers for both kids
and adults, a town
gathering place, tutoring and counseling programs and many other
services to
enhance community life in College Corner.
The Junction
is a non-profit organization that is governed
by a Board of Directors, who is Christ-centered, and is committed to
seeing
this project come to fruition. It
will
take the support of the College Corner community to make this happen. We need local churches,
businesses and clubs
as well as individual citizens to support this endeavor. When everyone comes
together in the name of
Christ great things will happen!!
